In China, the viscosity grades of anti-wear hydraulic oil are divided into eight types: 10 #, 15 #, 22 #, 32 #, 46 #, 68 #, 100 #, and 150 #. The commonly used anti-wear hydraulic oil viscosity grades are 32 #, 46 #, and 68 #.
 
Hydraulic oil model
Hydraulic oil is a general term, and anti-wear hydraulic oil is developed on the basis of anti rust and anti-oxidation hydraulic oil. Hydraulic oil is divided into HH (pure mineral oil)/HL (anti-oxidation and anti rust)/HM (anti-wear)/HV (low temperature)/HS (low pour point) and other categories. The commonly used hydraulic oil nowadays is basically HL/HM category.
 
Anti wear hydraulic oil is mainly used in heavy-duty, medium pressure, and high-pressure hydraulic systems to ensure that the friction pairs in the oil pump, hydraulic motor, control valve, and oil cylinder receive normal lubrication under high-pressure, high-speed, and harsh conditions, reducing wear. And it can quickly separate the water mixed into the oil, preventing the metal surface from rusting.

Main uses of hydraulic oil
1. Anti wear hydraulic oil is mainly used in hydraulic systems such as heavy-duty, medium pressure, and high-pressure vane pumps, plunger pumps, and gear pumps. It is suitable for YB-D25 vane pumps, CBN-E306 gear pumps, PF15 plunger pumps, and YB-E80/40 dual pumps.
2. Hydraulic systems used for medium pressure, imported equipment/vehicles, and high-pressure engineering machinery. Hydraulic systems for equipment such as tunnel boring machines, computer numerical control machine tools, crawler cranes, coal mining machines, and hydraulic backhoe excavators.
3. In addition to being used in various high-pressure hydraulic systems of hydraulic pumps, it can also be used for lubrication of medium load industrial gears (excluding hyperbolic gears and worm gears). The applicable ambient temperature for anti-wear hydraulic oil is minus 10 ℃ -40 ℃, and it has good adaptability with nitrile rubber.

Performance Overview A high-performance ash free anti-wear hydraulic oil carefully formulated with refined mineral base oil and selected ash free additives. It has excellent thermal and oxidative stability, excellent dry/wet filtration, and can effectively reduce the accumulation of sludge and sediment. Excellent lubrication and anti-wear performance. Compliant with ISO HM standards and DIN51524, Part 2 (HL-P) standards; Exceeding SperryVickers vane pump experiments and CETOP RP47H standards.
 
Difference between grey and grey hydraulic oil
 
The anti-wear hydraulic oil additive system is divided into ash (zinc) type formula and ash free type formula.
1. There is a gray zinc containing main agent, ZDDP, Zinc dithiophosphate with a standard of 0.03% zinc content in oil.
 
2. Ash free type does not contain zinc. The advantage of ash free type is that it does not contain zinc element and will not react with silver containing components.
 
Because many components, such as valves, are made of silver plated materials, the zinc element will undergo electroplating reaction with silver to replace it and damage the components. But if you use dust-free anti-wear hydraulic oil, this problem will not occur because dust-free anti-wear hydraulic oil does not contain zinc, so it will not react with silver and damage components
 
Hydraulic oil replacement time
 
There is no specific time for replacing hydraulic oil, and many people only consider replacing it when the equipment is worn out. It is recommended that companies with high-precision oil filters operate online and conduct an online cycle every two to three months, so that the hydraulic oil can always be kept clean.
1. Visual oil change method. It relies on the experience of maintenance personnel to determine whether to change the oil based on visual changes in the regular state of the oil, such as blackening, odor, or milky white color.
 
2. Regular oil change method. According to the environmental and working conditions of the equipment site, as well as the oil change cycle of the oil used, replacement will be carried out upon expiration. This method is very suitable for enterprises with a large number of hydraulic equipment.
 
3. Sampling and testing method. Regularly sample and test the oil in the hydraulic press, determine necessary items (such as viscosity, acid value, moisture, particle size and content, and corrosion) and indicators, compare the actual measured values of oil quality with the specified oil degradation standards, and determine whether the oil should be replaced or not.
